Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions are intended for your safety and ease of use of our services. It is the guests’ responsibility to read all terms and conditions prior to making a booking. By making a booking with us, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions. Japanese Hot Spring House has the right to change or modify all or any part of these terms and conditions at any time.

COVID-19 Vaccination Policy
We are a small family business and our goal is to protect our guests, their families and our community. We have a mandatory policy of double vaccinations for every booking at Japanese Hot Spring House. If this is not suitable for you, please choose another venue.
Cancellation Policy
Up to 48 hours prior to occupancy, the payment can be transferred to a new booking as long as it is within 3 months of the original reservation.
Within 48 hours prior to occupancy, the payment will not be refunded.
A no-show is deemed a cancellation and will not be refunded.
Payment Policy
An enquiry, whether it is via email or telephone does not automatically confirm the stay.
Bookings require full payment of the total value of the stay via Credit/Debt at the time of the reservation. We do not accept cheques at Japanese Hot Spring House. It is important to read our Cancellation Policy above.
Arrival and Departure
Your room will be ready for you by 2pm on the day of arrival, and check-out time is 10am on the last day of your stay. Late check-out or early check-in is not possible. Please keep us informed as to your arrival time, especially if arriving late.
Children
Children should never be left unsupervised and children under 5 should always have an adult swimming within arm’s reach of them. Remember never take your eyes off you children.
Smoking Policy
For the comfort and safety of all our guests, Japanese Hot Spring House is strictly non-smoking. There are smoke detectors in the rooms which will set off alarms for the whole building. You will be asked to leave if you do not abide by this policy, no refund will be given and there will be a $100.00 cleaning fee charged.
Accidental Damage or Missing Property
We understand that accidental breakages do happen. Damage to furnishings and fittings is another matter. Japanese Hot Spring House reserves the right to replace any missing, damaged or soiled items. The person booking the room is deemed to be responsible for their actions and those of any of their party. The guest acknowledges that the charge may be debited from the credit card or charge facility used for payment of the booking.
Excessive Noise
Japanese Hot Spring House is in a residential area and we and our guests must respect our neighbour's privacy and comfort. We work hard to ensure your stay is quiet and relaxing and hope you keep noise to a minimum.
Cooking Facilities
We do have cooking facilities available for the guests to use. Katoomba also has many local cafes and restaurants that provide lunch and dinner.
Guest Property
Japanese Hot Spring House and its staff does not accept liability in respect of any loss or damage to articles brought into our guest house.
Guest’s Visitors
If you wish to have friends or family visit whilst you are staying at Japanese Hot Spring House, prior arrangements must be made with management. The bath house is available for our guests only.
